New plants for 2010

Besides the Spicebushes and Alumroot I mentioned in my previous post, here are some other new plants in my garden for 2010.

White Bleeding Heart

Salvia 'East Friesland'

Variegated Jacob's Ladder 'Stairway to Heaven'

Bellflower (I think)
This isn't new, but it's the first year the rabbits haven't eaten it so it's new to me.

Dwarf Oakleaf Hydrangea (by the rock) &
Cimicifuga 'Chocoholic' to the left of the birdbath

Oh Rosemarie! The rabbits do love the bellflowers. They eat mine all the time. I think the bellflowers are so delicious to them that it protects everything else! I keep them in abundance for that reason. Have you seen all the rabbits around lately. The one day we had four of them just out running around in our yard!!!!!

Pretty! Love all the new additions! It is so fun to watch your yard and garden grow isn't it? :)

Rabbits eat my bellflowers too, along with a list of other plants I (try to) grow.

That bleeding heart will be wonderful! I like both the white and pink ones, but there's something really special about the white ones.
